Job Description
The VP role will report into the Senior Vice President position and will be a part of the Account Management & Operations Team. This team works collectively to ensure budget and revenue delivery across multiple investment teams and partner agencies (i.e. clients).
ABOUT THE ROLE
The expectations for this role fall into a few main categories:
1. Communication
- Cultivate relationships with activation, Publicis internal sales and partner agency leads serving as main contact for assigned agencies and accounts
- Be a liaison between teams to help maximize procedural efficiencies
- Work with Publicis internal sales team to confirm new client onboarding details are shared to broader Activation teams with clear agreement on contractual agreements, billing timelines, Salesforce.
- Identify best practices and opportunities for improvement within workflow process and communication protocols
- Encourage solutions to team; provide examples and feedback in team meetings
2. Managing Business & Operations
- Become main contact for APEX Account Management team, being escalation point and support for activation, internal sales and partner agency leads
- Work to ensure the team is being supported, that APEX accounts are receiving exceptional customer service, and that goals for APEX and our clients are both being achieved
- Manage Salesforce dashboards for multiple high-profile accounts to ensure goal delivery, which may include: achieving budget goals, media performance, media savings/value.
- Use dashboards to manage client goals and pacing; work with Investment and Publicis internal sales team to help prioritize client allocation
- Contribute to the evolution of Salesforce/Dashboards to improve user experience, allowing for better business analysis
- Partner with finance to monitor billing, working with Activation teams to ensure cleared/billed invoices remain within client approved timelines
- Have the technical skills required to coach team members on troubleshooting within Salesforce, billing systems.
- Participate in leadership projects to identify new business solutions for clients
- Coordinate data requests for Audits/MMM between APEX and Agency teams
- Work with multiple activation teams to improve their Salesforce use and hygiene
- Work with Media Ops to troubleshoot and create standardized processes and templates

Qualifications
TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS
We value diversity of thought and experiences at APEX! If you learned about media from the sales or agency side, that's great but we do need folks with advanced level of understanding of how media investment works.
- 10+ years of experience with Experience of media is critical for success in this role
- Diverse backgrounds and experience are welcome including Agency Planning/Investment, Media Sales, Consulting or Media Client Side
- Knowledge of Salesforce and must be proficient in Excel
- Media financial skills is mandatory
- Business financial knowledge
- Experience with the media landscape
SOFT SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Technical skills are a point of entry for the roles at APEX but we're looking for qualified candidates with experience digging into prospects' pain points, empathizing with them, and validating the issues they're facing and soft skills that moves our culture.

Compensation Range: $143,000- $225,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
