Company Description

Breakout Room – Content Producer

Do you have a knack for creative storytelling and a passion for all things content? Are you keen to learn from experienced & supportive seniors who can help you excel in your career? If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, we want to hear from you!

What we do:

We are an Auckland based creative production studio. We are story tellers and makers for the brave new world. We unlock the ideas and creative solutions that bridge the gap between traditional agency models and the modern marketing world.

Our heartland is in digital and social story telling but as a team of resourceful doers, there’s almost no mode we can’t solve for. We do it all: Content strategy, social ideation and production, influencer, partnership and collaborations, activations, campaigns and everything in between.

We are lucky to work with a bunch of amazing iconic NZ Brands.

What we believe:

We believe that Brands and Organisations have stories to tell, hear, share and reflect. And that conventional agency models aren’t meeting all their needs.

We believe in creativity that starts in a different place. That stories need to be told with a fresh lens on people, culture, channels and algorithms.

We believe that craft is equally as important as concept. Our production-up mindset means we always think about the ‘how’ when we are dreaming up the ‘what’.

What we are looking for:

A Content Producer with 2-4 years of experience to join our team at Breakout Room and be part of delivering outstanding campaigns for a diverse portfolio of exciting brands. Collaboration, fresh thinking, and strong project management skills are essential for success in this dynamic role.

Working closely with our teams in Auckland and Wellington, as well as with MBM media teams, external suppliers, and clients, you will play a crucial role in bringing campaigns to life. This multifaceted position requires a combination of account management expertise and confident production skills.

As a Content Producer, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, collaborating with creative teams, and overseeing the execution of various projects, including high-quality product and social shoots, activations, influencer activities, and more. If you are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

You can:

  • Actively contribute to content concepting and ideation
  • Draft client-facing presentations and develop detailed production plans
  • Liaise with all team members and stakeholders on concepts, feedback and approvals
  • Brief internal and external suppliers
  • Oversee production and financials to deliver content on time and to budget

Sounds like bit of you?  Lets talk…
