Client Account Executive

Job Description

The Client Account Executive (CAE) works with the Account Director to manage assigned projects for our digital and direct mail business. He/she coordinates the full cycle of program management – from initiation and planning to execution and final wrap reporting - and ensures that quality work is delivered in a timely, cost-effective manner.  Under the guidance of the Account Director, the CAE is expected to lead all aspects of a key piece of business.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures agency compliance to client strategies
  • Works well with agency resources and teams – Account, Strategy & Planning, Creative & Production - to develop strategic, creative and effective programs
  • Collaborates with Creative and Production departments on all aspects of client’s business from concept to execution
  • Ability to analyze/synthesize business data
  • Ensures the delivery of timely ongoing and final program reports
  • Contributes to positive team morale, trouble shooting and creative solution solving
  • Actively participates in brainstorming and idea generation sessions

Client Services:

  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding and a passion for their client’s industry/business
  • Acts as the main client contact for all program elements
  • Utilizes excellent client-servicing skills to build strong client relationships and deliver all elements of program elements with excellence
  • Establishes himself/herself as a trusted strategic business partner to the client

Financial Management:

  • Works with internal teams to ensure programs are delivered on time and on budget
  • Stays heavily involved in budget tracking and program additions
  • Oversees budget reconciliation process
  • Provides clear, accurate, on time financial forecasting and reporting

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 2-3 years consumer marketing and digital agency experience
  • Strong marketing and business acumen; understands the agency and client’s business
  • Exceptional multi-tasking and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Knowledge and understanding of automotive industry
  • Proven leadership in client and internal meetings
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Stays abreast of pop-culture trends, advances in technology and marketing innovations
  • Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint fluency
