Job Description

We're looking for an ambitious Account Manager with experience in (and/or) running both corporate and consumer press offices, campaigns and activations.

If you are someone with expert knowledge across both consumer and corporate industries, with a vested interest and understanding of sustainability and tech, then this is the role for you!.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an ‘advisor’ to clients – proactively adding value, insights and direction to internal and external meetings. Support with developing ideas and solutions to meet the client need
  • Lead profitable projects with the support of Account Directors and above. Support with developing ideas and solutions to meet the client need
  • Management of client events – develop agendas, pitch presentations identify speakers, develop materials, work with other teams and agencies on production and promotion
  • Develop in-depth knowledge about the media including influencers and stakeholders- execute media relations programmes. You will also stay up to date with current communications technologies, ideas and trends
  • Pitch news, sell in stories to key consumer and corporate media verticals
  • Successfully work across multiple client projects at any one time. Find ways to juggle conflicting client deadlines and needs without impacting client satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Experience in (and/or) both corporate & consumer press office, campaigns and activations
  • Good understanding of earned media, experienced with suggesting stories and generating coverage across traditional media and digital channels
  • Engaging, positive with an infectious enthusiasm,
  • Commercially astute, actively interested in the sector in which we operate, so you are able to make smart business decisions and keep abreast of emerging trends
  • Client experience that demonstrates both Local and Global expertise - including  an understanding of local market nuances 
  • Passionate about media relations and can showcase your press contacts across a range of media titles and verticals 
  • Understand the value of arranging frequent media meets with key journalists and sharing your media skills with peers across the agency. You have a passion to learn, a solutions-focused attitude and strive to deliver exceptional client work
