Job Description
Role Summary
This role is within our ‘Publicis Vita’ team working across the Ancestry account within multiple global markets. Ancestry is the global leader in family history and consumer genomics, connecting families through their DNA and Family tree offerings.
Coming in as a Biddable Account Director, we’re looking for someone who is passionate about performance media, technology, and looking to make their mark on a rapidly growing client. Your responsibilities will range from client communications, PPC strategy, social & display strategy, campaign responses, forecasting, finance, reconciliation and of course innovation. You will play a pivotal role in aligning with the wider planning and activation teams, whilst managing a team of Account Managers and Executive-level colleagues to support you. This role will also work closely with local market teams based in Canada & Australia to standardize practices and share test learnings for quick adoption across markets. Campaigns will be a mix of branding and direct response.

Who we are looking for:
In collaboration with the Biddable Lead, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing outstanding PPC, Paid Social and display strategies, ensuring seamless operations within our expansive team. Your ability to cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders is crucial, as is your adept management of a team of skilled Biddable specialists. Client engagement is a core component of this position, involving direct collaboration to devise campaign strategies aligned with specific targets. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing media plans and financial aspects for upcoming quarters.
- Extensive expertise in Paid Search and Paid Social, covering planning, strategy formulation, and flawless execution.
- Proven experience in managing campaigns with performance and direct-response KPIs, including Cost per Acquisition, revenue, and ROAS objectives.
- Proficiency in utilizing Biddable platforms to effectively handle large-scale campaigns, encompassing bid strategy implementation, reporting, and optimization.
- Enthusiastic about innovation and dedicated to pushing the boundaries of Paid Search, Social and broader digital plans.
- Skilled in building collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Confident presentation and communication skills.
- Hands on knowledge of media platforms such as SA360, Cm360, Adobe
- Previous experience in training and managing the workloads of team members, either in a line managerial or mentoring capacity, is desirable.
