Job Description

The Data Governance Specialist will primarily provide support with managing the agency network, knowledge transfer, training, and leadership with the wider digital data/tech and buying teams ensuring Publicis Media data quality is of the highest level.

• Develop, implement and manage consistent taxonomy and naming convention within key platforms such as MediaTools, Campaign Framework, DMP and activation platforms

• First point of contact for media teams in case of emergency and escalation when related to data governance

• QA and maintain compliance against Client defined taxonomy using reporting dashboard or manual python script data validation processes • Maintain data dictionaries within platforms across markets

• Ensure data collection is aligned with client measurement framework and is captured accurately

• Work with regional Publicis agency teams to ensure best practice is deployed on a client by client basis

Key Responsibilities Publicis Media’s objective is to support Clients in managing, operating and scaling digital and offline campaign data available to them through campaign activations. The Data Governance Specialist role focuses on three core areas:

1. Compliance – using Publicis Media suite of products to ensure media teams are adhering to standardized processes

2. Quality – ensuring data dictionaries and/or master data are maintained across all platfor

ms and channels

3. Integrity – ensuring the right information is being completed by media teams to produce meaningful insights

Required Skills

• Provide leadership and be a subject-matter expert on Publicis Media data governance standards

• Critical thinking to understand business challenges and help address as needed

• Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately and multi-task as needed

• Strong skills in process, project management and support in training. Will be expected to complete daily work while supporting regional/ local teams in their work

• Experience with MS Excel such as pivot tables, formula functions and macros

• Experience managing/ working with a project management tool such as Jira is a plus

• Experience with data visualization tool(s) such as Datorama

• Familiarity with various digital media technologies such as ad server and DSP is a plus
