Job Description

As a ‘Senior Manager – Data Strategy’ on a dedicated client team, you will lead a well-structured team delivering on the Data Strategy for a key client.  Reporting directly to the Data Strategy Vertical Lead with a dotted line to a Business Lead, you will actively support in client delivery, retention and seek new growth opportunities for the Groupe.

 

Strategic Consultancy and Client Relationship Management

  • Provide strategic consultancy and guidance internally as well as externally with clients.
  • Build trust and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders by adapting to their ways of working, timely response, quality delivery, and knowledge sharing.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Contribute to business growth by supporting new business pitches and identifying organic growth opportunities on existing accounts.
  • Develop client strategies, which includes understanding the brief, framing the problem statement, evaluating, and recommending solutions.

 

Strategy Development and Execution

  • Design tailored data-driven, customer-first strategies based on data insights to address business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and execution of strategy and transformation projects.
  • Utilize all available platforms and tools to drive process efficiency, enhance ways of working, and digitalize our operating models.

 

Presentations and Communication

  • Design presentations to communicate updates, best practices, and solutions to clients.
  • Communicate confidently in a clear, concise, and articulate manner.
  • Possess strong communication, editing, and writing skills.
  • Make valuable contributions to discussions and brainstorming sessions, providing insight and points of view.

 

Team Leadership and Management

  • Lead and manage a team including all aspects of business development, project delivery, and team management.
  • Lead on all talent requirements for your direct reportees: talent upskilling plans, career development, performance appraisals.
  • Seek others' feedback to develop self-awareness, strengths, and address development areas.
  • Proactively raise issues to improve teamwork and collaboration.

 

Technical Expertise and Analytical Skills

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the first-party data ecosystem and the performance media ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with data management; experience working with data development, engineering, and data science teams.
  • Proficient analytical and Excel skills.
  • Bonus Experience: Python, JavaScript, SQL, and cloud services e.g., BigQuery.
  • Experience as a customer-facing technical solution consultant.
  • High attention to detail and experience in critical problem-solving and data management techniques.
  • Ability to influence internally and externally to facilitate the adoption of technology and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in multinational organizations within the relevant fields.
  • Experience required: Digital Marketing transformation, Business management, and People management.
  • Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel advanced proficiency.
