Job Description

To work closely with the SEO Director to plan, manage and implement effective SEO strategies for one of our primary clients. Manage day-to-day SEO activity and core client relationships to deliver a full range of SEO services that exceed client objectives and expectations.

Expected to travel to internal and external meetings and conferences primarily within the UK, or in Switzerland.

The role is articulated around 4 key areas of expertise:

Client Service

  • Ownership of day-to-day client relationships, overseeing and leading all client communication with the support of the wider specialist teams.
  • Leading client workstreams, ownership and planning of meetings
  • Supporting on response to complex SEO client briefs
  • Identifying areas of improvements in ways of working to ensure client satisfaction remains high during our engagement
  • Provide client with any report needed and act as a final layer of QA for strategic work delivered.
  • Lead large recurring and ad hoc business updates (QBRs, Mid-Year and End of Year reviews)

Planning & Project Management

  • Ownership of project management tool (Monday) and regular curating of platform to ensure all workstreams are progressing at pace.
  • Provide internal and external stakeholders with a clear update on progress across all client workstreams: content, technical SEO, outreach, earned media, deployment, local activities,…
  • Support the team with invoicing, billing and other commercial operations.

Local market governance

  • Management of the deployment of a multi-market (70+ countries) SEO strategy for co-ordinating between different local and central Publicis and client stakeholders.
  • Ownership of recurring alignment global and local meetings to ensure the SEO strategy is accurately deployed across all markets participating in the client’s SEO program.
  • Connect local clients to local Publicis agencies and facilitate the development of scopes of work within the network.

Team management

  • Oversee workload, output and management of 3 overseas team members performing:
    • SEO performance reporting (monthly, QBR, local level reports, etc,…)
    • Finance reporting
    • Ad hoc content and technical SEO tasks
  • Delegate and structure workload according to the available resource and skillsets
  • Communicate and align with other SEO team members to borrow and lend available resources when required.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience of working within a fast-paced agency environment with enterprise-level clients.
  • Ability to spot and correct errors in reports and data quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to identify organic search opportunities, set business-relevant KPIs, project organic search performance and estimate expected return-on-investment.
  • Ability to establish clear internal briefing and manage projects; distribute the workload appropriately; layout work in well-planned and organised manner; maintains two-way dialogue with others on work and results; brings out the best in people; is a clear and frequent communicator.
  • Proven demonstrable experience of managing and mentoring direct reports within the digital space.
  • Proven demonstrable experience of developing and executing SEO multi-market strategies co-ordinating with local and central teams.
  • Hands on experience of using Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SemRush, Data Studio and other relevant SEO platforms.
