We are building out our creative, brand experience, and social offerings. And as such, we are looking for a savvy mid-weight creative, with a seriously good knowledge of social media. The team is intentionally small and agile, and we work across many different clients - both retained as well as for new business. We each have a different skill set, which combined means we have a unique ability to come up with sticky insights and unexpected creative – but we’re keen to continually innovate and there is space for someone with a social-first mind set. You’ll have some creative campaigns already under their belt – and probably some cool content of your own to share. Job Description

Are you ready to lead the charge in social-first creativity? At our innovative agency, we're looking for a Social-First Creative to join a team structured with a CCO, ECD, Head of Strategy, Senior Creative, and two Junior Creatives. Reporting to the Senior Creative and ECD, you'll be at the forefront of our creative endeavors, driving the social-first agenda.

In this pivotal role, you'll be the go-to person for all things social-first, taking the lead on creative responses with guidance from our ECD. Your keen eye for detail will ensure that every creative brief, whether crafted by you or another team member, is meticulously thought through and distilled to its core essence. You'll provide valuable feedback to make these briefs not just focused but also inspiring.

As an integral member of the creative team, you will dissect briefs and understand target audiences, aiding the account teams in presenting clear, concise rationales to clients. Your ability to identify key creative territories within briefs will be crucial as you ideate across a wide range of formats—from social-first campaigns to experiential and press office projects.

Your role doesn't end at ideation. You’ll write comprehensive creative long lists post-ideation, with support from the Senior Creative. You'll also nurture the next generation of creatives, offering feedback and participating actively in creative conversations. Your mentorship will guide Junior Creatives in researching and uncovering unique insights, fostering their ability to think within a social sphere.

Leading the charge for behavioral insights, you'll ensure that all our creative responses are rooted in unique human truths. You'll work closely with teammates and account teams, building strong relationships at a mid-management level. Your proactive approach will see you sharing intriguing social trends, positioning you as the oracle of social creativity.

Timeliness is key, and you'll respond to briefs swiftly with a range of refined creative ideas. You'll integrate feedback from team leads, manage team dynamics effectively, and occasionally reach out to suppliers to test the viability of ideas. As a central creative hub, you'll draw out great insights and thoughts from across the agency, running creative conversations and boosting the confidence of less creatively confident teammates.

Your role will also include mentoring junior colleagues from non-creative backgrounds, providing support to the senior team in pitch deck writing, and developing ideas for retained clients. When it’s time to pitch, your compelling presentations will win over clients.

Qualifications

  • Creative Experience: Few years of experience working as a creative with a focus on social media, ready to advance your career.
  • Social Media Expertise: Extensive knowledge of current trends, platform mechanics, and emerging influencers.
  • Content Creation Skills: Proven experience in content creation and production.
  • Client-Facing Abilities: Skilled in dissecting briefs, identifying gaps, and contributing effectively to pitches.
  • Communication Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at writing and formatting pitch decks.
  • Ambitious and Adaptable: Self-motivated with a keen attitude, strong time management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
