Job Description

The Senior Account Executive will be an integral part of the Global Account Teams. Collaborating with the Account Manager and Account Director, the executive will help maintain our network, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and provide local market governance. This involves working closely with our Local Markets and our Global Digital and Central Planning teams.

This role bridges Global Planning and Strategy with Local Planning and Activation, offering an exciting opportunity to drive change at both global and local levels.

The ideal candidate will work closely with various teams and stakeholders, providing the opportunity to learn across agency functions and participate in multiple exciting projects. This experience will help define their career path within the agency group.

This right candidate will be expected to manage a broad range of day-to-day operations and global workstreams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Service / Management:
  • Serve as a main point of contact for day-to-day operations – addressing account queries, providing troubleshooting solutions for local markets, and managing client requests efficiently
  • Lead and contribute to weekly internal and client-facing status calls, coordinating updates from various teams to ensure smooth communication and project progression
  • Assist in creating client-facing presentations and internal templates to effectively communicate strategies, plans, and updates
  • Collaborate with the Business Director, Account Director, and Account Manager in the global Annual Planning process for 2025, contributing to strategic development and execution.
  • Managing finance queries and reconciliation reporting
     
  1. Market Coordination & Network Management:
  • Become proficient in using data management platforms, and understand the media reporting process to ensure accurate data handling and reporting
  • Support junior team members in reviewing and auditing media plans, ensuring accuracy in spending, data, and naming taxonomy.
  • Collaborate with digital and centralised planning teams to ensure the correct application of internal tools and software, to optimise campaign performance and reporting.
     
  1. Campaign Planning, Activation & Reporting (Edrington only):
  • Assist the team with planning, implementation and reporting of campaigns across UK, US, ES markets
  • Responsible for compiling a consolidation media plans across offline and digital
  • Responsible for booking, tagging and trafficking campaigns across UK, US, ES markets
  • Responsible for compiling weekly reports using digital activation data from Digital Hub + APAC local markets.
  • Manage the PCAs, compile the activation teams' PCA data and summarise key learnings

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the expertise and drive to efficiently oversee and manage day-to-day projects for our clients.

They should be enthusiastic about supporting various stakeholders and building strong relationships. Attention to detail is essential. As a proactive team player who is eager to learn and focused on achieving results, they will be responsible for the successful execution of account activities and keen to share their insights with the wider team.

Experience Required:

Preferred background in media/marketing with:

  • Broad knowledge of offline and digital media channels
  • Client management skills
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Capacity to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and make strategic arguments
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience working across EMEA markets
