We are seeking a highly talented and experience Creative Director to join our team and lead the Social Pod for EE. The social pod is a bespoke team created specifically to serve the needs of the client. The team consists of Boomerang UK and Saatchi & Saatchi and works collaboratively and efficiently to provide EE with the very best social content.

As the Creative Director, you will manage a dynamic team dedicated to social campaigns and always-on content. This role is crucial in shaping the direction and success of our social content for EE. You will be responsible for managing and supervising all creative social work for EE. Your extensive experience will be crucial in transforming big creative ideas into socially led, award worthy content.

You will get to work across live briefs and lead a team of creatives, and advocate for innovative ideas in a client-facing role. The day to day will be very varied, and will involve everything from being out on shoots, to collaborating with global brands, all whilst maintaining oversight of EE’s social account to achieve an authentic, aligned message.

Responsibilities

• Lead all social content, ideation and production for EE account
• Collaborate with the wider creative and production department
• Work across live briefs and oversee the creative process from concept to execution
• Turn big ideas into social-first, award-winning work.
• Maintain a watchful eye over social platforms to maintain quality and alignment with EE’s brand values.
• Engage in client-facing roles, pioneering ideas and providing strategic direction.
• Help mentor a team of creatives, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in a social or creative agency, with at least 1 years’ experience at Creative Director level. 
• Experience and confidence in presenting work to C-suite clients, understanding how socially native creative fits into the broader marketing mix.
• Comfortable working with budgets of 20p to £2M and everything in between. 
• Handled senior client relationships and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of the social environment, TikTok, Instagram, X and the sort of paid and organic content that performs well across these channels

Preferred

• A portfolio filled with recognisable examples of social content and campaigns for a range of brands
• An award or two or some nominations in the Social, Influencer & PR categories.
• Experience working with large UK national tech/telco brand
