Within the team, you will be able to confidently leverage your industry experience and knowledge to motivate, educate and aid the development of other team members in Australia and Korea.



  • As the APAC Strategy Director, your scope will include:  
    • Lead ideation and brainstorming across the agency Vision
    • Work with the APAC Client lead to create the vision and strategy and then inspire others to work towards it
    • Provide the overall strategic direction within the ROI Growth Platform framework, Zenith’s strategic planning process
    • Translate consumer understanding into actionable, fact-based, communication strategies
    • Deliver innovative and proactive solutions in problem-solving
    • Build strong working relationships with Client, Media and Creative Partners & Internal Stakeholders
    • Drive connection with cross-functional disciplines, e.g. data, research & commerce Creativity
    • Deliver innovative and creative work that solves business problems with tangible impact-mapped
    • Internal training and upskilling of teams in terms of planning excellence

What type of person will be successful in this role  

You’ll possess:  

  • 1 - 2 years’ in a Strategy Director role in the media agency landscape
  • A proven track record in persuading people view rigorous storytelling that leverages client data to support direction for the bigger picture of best practice
  • Proven baseline of understanding and ability to utilise Planning Tools (‘CX suite’ including CX tracker, Touchpoints, CX tool plus client ‘data hubs’ where available will be evaluated as part of onboarding and development)
  • Utilise traditional (e.g. Roy Morgan, AQX) and new (e.g. Socialtools, Netbase) tools effectively to supplement this research.
  • Create robust, tightly argued, seamless, communications proposals – from a brief to proposed executions.
  • Use of insights to generate inspiring, connections platforms and media executions.
  • Extract genuine, but relevant insights (i.e. consumer, cultural, category, and media) from multiple, complex data sources and then articulating that insight in a provocative, engaging way.
  • Ability to leverage performance results as part of building the case for marketing & communications best practice.
