Job Description

This role will be supporting and be central to the successful management of campaigns through working with the Account Team, Creative Department and Client. You will be the knowledge base for all campaigns and championing the best creative work possible through tight management of timing, cost and processes.

What you’ll do

Workflow

  • Management and overview of the overall delivery of a multi-channel campaign.
  • Creates project plans for each brief by amalgamating timings from relevant channel specific producers and partner agencies, where relevant.
  • Assures that briefs are received on time and that creative teams are briefed.
  • Ensures that reviews are held and attended by all of the relevant departments and cross agency teams.
  • Facilitates work out of the reviews through the agency to the relevant departments and potential third parties.
  • Takes responsibility for suggesting alternative options in situations where there are challenges from a timings or delivery standpoint.
  • Works closely with all the channel specific production arms to assure delivery of output.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills; ability to plan for all eventualities; identify risks and provide solutions to issues.

Financial

  • Manages and follows up on all internal and third party production costs including raising job numbers, PO numbers and liaising with clients on receiving POs.
  • Assists in actively managing the fee scope and campaign budgets alongside the account management/finance departments.

Who you’ll do it with

You will work closely with the key departments (Brand, Production, Creative) within the agency and other agencies engaged by the client, for example across direct mail, design, and activations.

Qualifications

The Programme Manager will have strong communications skills and first-hand experience of taking personal charge for the delivery of similar highly innovative and creative projects along with:

  • Ability to work under pressure, to prioritise, to multi task and to manage the creative process from start to finish are critical for this role.
  • Know and understand the client’s organisation and processes.
  • Experience and understanding of the processes involved in producing of TV, print, radio, digital display and outdoor campaigns is essential, however producers will ultimately be responsible for the output.
  • Works as a strong team player.
  • Professional at all times. 
  • Ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups. 
  • Willingness to becomes a champion of the client’s business. 
  • Display a good understanding of various media, including costs.
  • Has a full understanding of the invoicing process, mark ups and charge out rates.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Great attention to detail is a must.    
  • Ability to operate with little supervision and resolve problems efficiently.  
  • Excellent communicator both verbal and written.  
  • Ability to juggle numerous tasks at once and to deliver effectively.  
  • A natural problem solver. 
  • Confidence, positivity, and ability to be calm under pressure.  
  • An eye for craft, agility, and resourcefulness.
