This is an opportunity to work with one of the world's finest global technology firms in a freshly formed team dedicated to delivering the greatest digital marketing in the world. We are looking for an APAC Digital Planning Manager who can come in and immediately make an impact. This person should exude confidence and be able to motivate, educate and aid the development of other members of the team across APAC. Whilst the successful candidate will be well supported, it is expected that they should be able to ‘hit the ground running’, and for the most part be able to manage their team and workload without direct guidance.

The Digital Planning Manager position is a regional focussed role, accountable for APAC Document Cloud full-funnel planning, (B2C) providing strategic thinking and digital leadership on the client’s business in order to drive marketing-led growth across the APAC markets.


Your scope will include:

·       Be the client, internal, and media owner point person for all things related to APAC Document Cloud Digital planning and strategy.

·       Build best-in-market digital media responses: Well thought out, argued, and answers the marketing challenges. Looks to encourage and innovate where possible, however also nails the fundamentals leveraging Strategy’s insights, previous campaign performance and digital best practises.

·       Channel Planning: Being able to make a compelling case to drive long-term agendas without sacrificing short-term KPIs by leveraging performance indicators, future-proofing the performance of the business. Knowledge of each channel and device in the path to conversion to accurately advise the client on the best media mix to deliver on their KPI.

·       Navigate the variety of dashboards (Client, agency of Publisher owned) to source insights and build your rationales.

·       Accurately forecast all campaign performance, leveraging previous campaign performance, seasonality, and cost variation between device, platforms, formats, as well as impact on results from fluctuation in budgets.

·       From Strategy and Planning to Operations: Ensuring smooth operations from the plan approval to campaign implementation by the Operations team (Including audience tactics, digital implementation best practises, measurement, A/B tests etc.)

·       Oversee campaigns performance, ensuring the campaign is pacing to the planned figures, and that you are leveraging performance insights in planning outputs.

·       Assist the Group Digital Director in overall Digital discussions and translate the bigger strategy into your media responses.

·       Upskill in all digital performance channels, to enhance digital knowledge and be able to effectively plan these channels.

·       Deliver innovative and proactive solutions in problem solving.

What type of person will be successful in this role

·       4+ years’ experience in the media agency and/or digital marketing role

·       Knowledgeable in digital buying fundamentals and relevant digital tools: Fundamentals knowledge of DV360, Meta, Snap, Tiktok, and other key biddable platforms. Knowing Adobe AdCloud and Adobe digital ecosystem is a plus.

·       Demonstrate a sound knowledge of Australian digital media.

·       Previous Full-Funnel planning and reporting experience, must be comfortable with Performance/ROI-driven campaigns.

·       You should be comfortable presenting recommendations to senior clients. You should be able to create good points of view, well substantiated and engagingly visualised.

·       Be an effective decision maker. Open and ready to seek support where necessary. Always be looking for a positive outcome.

·       Attention to detail: With highly accurate forecasts required, attention to detail is key to accurately plan and report on your campaigns.

·       Data-driven: You need to be able to turn data into drama, using numbers to tell a story that everyone wants to watch unfold.

·       Critical thinking to assess business challenges and help address as needed.

·       Driven: Be willing to go the extra mile to elevate your responses and ultimately Adobe’s business

·       Accountability: Adobe is a fast-paced client which requires a high level of attention. You need to be responsive and take the ownership of all Planning and forecasting requests relative to Document Cloud.

·       Be a Team Player: Adobe + Pub works as one Team and effective communication between divisions and markets is key.

·       Highly polished, accurate and on point - very detail oriented, autonomous, strong critical thinker and ability to juggle multiple tasks as needed.

·       Successful in building relationships – a creative problem solver, and a customer service expert

·       An excellent communicator - able to write clearly and speak professionally.
