Job Description

This role is focused on reporting, control and process documentation across agencies. The role is also responsible for managing and coaching a small team. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Ownership, analysis and preparation of all timely monthly reporting including but not limited to Actuals, reforecasts and Annual Commitments (Budgets) in the HFM Hyperion reporting tool, to UK Management, EMEA and Groupe
  • Manage the accurate forecasting of people costs
  • Deliver accurate financials across both P&L and Balance Sheet that enables key decision making
  • Manage, nurture, develop and support direct report(s). Focus on diversity and inclusion, clear goal setting, respect, collaboration and celebrating success
  • Play a lead role in the evolution of UK Finance, continually embracing technological changes to deliver efficient processes to maximize our business impact. Challenge the status quo, drive change and champion efficient ways of working
  • Maintain a strong controls environment. Ensure consistent application of Publicis Groupe policies and audit compliance, escalating issues in a timely fashion
  • Support in the alignment of consistent GL reporting across the market
  • Oversight of AP and AR process, external reporting and tax compliance activities performed by the Re:Sources SSC
  • Support on the review and management of TWC across the market
  • Ownership of internal and external audit process as the key liaison
  • Review internal control compliance across the UK Market
  • Ad hoc requests as required

In addition, working with the Finance Director and wider finance leadership teams:

  • Support on internal and external audits
  • Work with the Finance Director and wider finance team to further develop process and control documentation
  • Ad hoc requests as required by Group FD and UK CFO

Qualifications

Essential Experience:

  • Fully qualified accounting (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with post qualified experience in a similar role 
  • Ability to interpret and manipulate data in a logical manner
  • Proficient user of Excel
  • Media, advertising, or digital experience an advantage, but not a pre-requisite
  • Lateral thinker with an ability to thrive in a fast-moving, agile and matrix environment
  • A focus on ‘customer service’ – both internally & externally, via a positive, collaborative mindset
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives/projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience of driving change and efficiencies in a complex organisation
