About the Role: Zenith UK is seeking a dynamic and experienced Media Planning Director to lead our prestigious Reckitt account, focusing on the award-winning Vanish and Air Wick brands. This role comes at an exciting time as Reckitt has just been awarded Advertiser of the Year at the Media Leader Awards, and Zenith has proudly won the Talent Excellence Award.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the media planning strategy for Reckitt, ensuring alignment with their business goals and objectives.
  • Develop bold and innovative media plans that drive rapid and spectacular growth for the Vanish and Air Wick brands.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the seamless execution of media strategies.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to optimise media performance and deliver higher ROI.
  • Foster strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Mentor and develop a team of media planners, nurturing talent and promoting a culture of excellence.

About the Brands: Vanish, a leader in fabric stain removers, has not only proven its market dominance through effective products but has also received acclaim for its impactful campaigns. Notably, the "Vanish, Autism and Me" campaign has garnered awards for raising awareness and fostering understanding around autism. This campaign has set a new standard for how brands can contribute positively to social causes while driving business success.

Air Wick, another flagship brand under Reckitt, continues to innovate in the home fragrance market, offering products that enhance the ambience of homes worldwide. The brand's commitment to sustainability and nature-inspired fragrances has solidified its position as a household favourite.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in media planning and strategy, preferably within an agency environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
  • Exceptional communication and client management skills.
  • Expertise in leveraging data and analytics to inform media strategies.
  • A creative and innovative mindset, capable of delivering bold and impactful media solutions.
  • Passion for staying ahead of industry trends and continuously seeking new opportunities for growth.
