The role of the Activation Executive is to deliver best-in-class campaign activation & planning across all channels (primarily offline-focused), delivering exceptional results against agreed parameters. This person should be well informed in the Australian media landscape and be able to reference this knowledge in client meetings and within their team.

  • Keep pace with market knowledge that will aid negotiations with publishers and inform clients and the wider team.
  • Optimise and track all campaign variables to ensure all objectives are met, work with the Client Manager to ensure all planning ideas/strategies are delivered through the activation process.
  • Proactively completes regular and continuous analysis of market trends, economic issues and other factors affecting buys
  • Campaign analysis and optimisation
  • Optimise campaigns and utilise the Tracking sheet to keep Activation Manager / Director up to date on the progress of the campaign
  • Maintain accurate budget and spend management of campaigns




  • Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience 
  • Experience of buying/planning across offline channels
  • Preferably a university degree or higher education qualifications
  • Expert understanding and working knowledge of Australian media landscape
  • Experience across the following Office platforms: Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Have an understanding and experience using the following tools is advantageous: eTAM, BMD, Roy Morgan, EMMA, eRAM, Nielsen Digital/ Answers, Sizmek and/or DCM, MOVE, AQX Fusion, Spectra
  • Works well within a team environment, including being responsible for junior team members
  • Develops and maintains professional and friendly media and client relationships
  • Curious with a willingness for continuous learning and progression
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Attention to detail that is second to none
  • Sound planning, project management and time management skills
  • Confident and engaging interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
