They are enthusiastic and happy to work on any kind of task or project that comes through the agency, knowing that the opportunity to work on design projects from concept to final artwork is always there.
They are open to new methods of collaboration, process with other designers, creatives, strategists, and other members from different departments. Day-to-day, they support junior and senior designers, crafting projects that constantly work to improve the reputation and aptitude of the design department to the rest of the agency.
This role will focus solely on our Health and Wellness clients but experience in this area is not necessary.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- The creation of conceptually-led, strategically-driven, beautifully crafted designs.
- Providing valuable input across all stages of a project; from immersion to strategy to creative expression and through to implementation
- Preparing and presenting work, putting together materials for pitches, presentations and workshops
- Proactively learning new skills and giving everything a go – e.g. type, copy, art direction, animation, coding (etc)
- Articulately presenting your work and giving input in client meetings
- Taking responsibility to hit deadlines, timings and being punctual
- Supporting junior and senior team members, across the design dept. and agency to reach collective goals, while taking initiative and displaying leadership qualities
- Being culturally connected and understanding new waves and trends
- Attending events, exhibitions and connect to universities and design institutions
- Actively contributing to department and agency culture
Qualifications
Experience
Formal training in a specific design discipline or relevant experience. Proven skills and competencies within design discipline. Generally, 2 to 5 years of industry experience
Portfolio
Design projects and ideas that show a very high quality of conceptually-led, strategically-driven, beautifully crafted designs
Emotional Intelligence
Comfortable working as a team and confident to take part in interviews, workshops and interactions / presentations with stakeholders. Critically being able to question and challenge briefs and solve design problems creatively
Flexibility
Able to flex and be confident being industry agnostic, with any type of client, anywhere in the world (from start-ups to corporations and beyond)
Tools
High level of skill at typical design programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma), understanding of design processes
Bonus Tools
Experience in animation, coding and interaction design a bonus (AE / C4D prototyping tools, coding languages)
