Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Client Partner to join the Digitas team in Auckland working across a key agency client. In this role you would be at the forefront of our stakeholder relationships, driving growth, fostering collaboration and ensuring exceptional service delivery. You will serve as the primary point of contact for your client, understanding their business objectives and translating them into effective and measurable solutions.  

As a Client Partner, you would play a key strategic role in guiding and influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally to ensure both agency and client needs are met, whilst leading a large cross-functional team to build customer experiences that create measurable impact for your client. Your role will be pivotal in fostering long-term partnerships and maximising stakeholder satisfaction. 

Reporting to the General Manager – Client Services, your role will involve: 

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with your key stakeholders. Act as their advocate within the agency and the voice of Digitas externally, and ensure needs are met with high-quality, innovative solutions. 

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with your stakeholders to identify their marketing goals and develop digital marketing strategies that align with their objectives and budget. 

  • Campaign Management: Oversee the implementation of digital campaigns and projects from inception to completion, ensuring seamless delivery and alignment with stakeholder expectations. 

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including creative, strategy, data and delivery to develop integrated solutions that exceed client expectations. 

  • Financial Management: Oversee, maintain and ensure client profitability and identify opportunities for efficiencies and implementation of effective processes. 

Qualifications

The person we are looking for has: 

  • 7+ years of client facing experience at a digital or integrated communications agency. 

  • Proven experience in managing large client portfolios while also increasing client growth and business development. 

  • You enjoy building strong c-suite relationships with your stakeholders and guiding them strategically.  

  • Experience successfully overseeing large teams, you have strong people techniques and enjoy fostering the growth and development of your team. 

  • You are agile, have comfort in ambiguity and have the aptitude to adapt to changing needs of the client, project or Digitas. 

  • Strong business and financial acumen, you have experience running intricate projects tightly that are both profitable and effective. 

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in business, technology and digital to apply them to strategies.
