Job Description

We are looking for a kick arse Business Manager to work closely with our clients to help solve their challenges, by developing integrated media solutions. 

The role will manage a tight portfolio of clients, reporting directly into our incredible Group Business Director.  A planner buyer reports into the role.  A small portfolio will enable you to understand your clients and their organisations deeply and provide insightful, considered advice. 

The role requires someone who is well versed with media agency capabilities, tools, and operations.

Core Functions: Client management ownership, omni-channel planning, analysis and research, budget and financial management ownership.

About you

  • 4-5 years’ experience in media agencies and qualified to work in NZ
  • Understanding of media planning fundamentals and strong planning capability
  • A strategic mindset – separating what is important from the noise and driving the direction of the response with other contributors
  • Digital planning experience ideal – you will not undertake digital performance planning but will be responsible for cross channel media planning. We have a team of specialists to support you.
  • Confidence use of media research and reporting resources as well as superstar Pegasus capability and proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint )
  • Good knowledge of the NZ media landscape
  • Strong written, communication and presentation skills
  • Problem solving capabilities with excellent attention to detail and proven analytical and mathematical skills
  • Able to work successfully within a team, handling workload, and meeting deadlines under pressure
  • Most importantly, you have a growth mindset, are curious, passionate,  a great team player and enjoy a friendly, inclusive work culture.
