About the role....

The Digital Operations Associate Director is a key member of the team and works closely with the Digital Hub Lead, Digital Network Director and Client Lead.

The Digital Operations Associate Director will be responsible for delivering on key strategic projects to advance the ways of working of the account whilst also overseeing daily operations of the team to smoothly deliver all centrally activated digital campaigns.

About the work....
CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT, DELIVERY & OPERATIONS

  • Assist your direct report (Campaign Manager) in the management and flow of campaign briefs for digital buying (programmatic and social) across all EMEA markets. This management will require the development of an existing project management tool to monitor the progress across all aspects of campaign delivery (from brief through to optimisation and reporting)
  • Build a strong relationship and remain in regular communicate with our internal local market teams across campaign management, ensure our activation team’s deliver is to a high standard
  • Working alongside Digital Hub Lead and Channel Business Directors to develop and deploy operational improvements to drive improved service, output, timeliness, and accuracy
  • Monitor monthly campaign delivery and finance completion, identify areas of improvement and work with channel buyers where required
  • Oversee and manage all channel best practice and WoW documentation, communicate, and where required present changes to local agency teams and clients
     

CAMPAIGN BEST PRACTICE, INNOVATION & INSIGHT

  • Work with channel teams and Hub Lead to capture, document, and present digital activation learnings to internal local market planning teams and Spotify clients (e.g. campaign and test and learn results which can inform future local market tactical planning)
  • Build, management and oversee delivery of EMEA digital test and learn roadmap, work with internal local planning teams to ensure recommended test and learns are featured in future plans/campaigns
  • Monitor campaign volumes and resource allocation to markets, ensure workload is balanced across hub team members and identify adjustments where required
  • Support channel leads during local client and agency communications and presentations relating to performance and operations
  • Help define training plan for 100% certification on key platforms and ensure channel specialists become performance experts over time
  • Responsible for quality assurance across EMEA Hub weekly performance reports ensuring insightful and actionable performance commentary and correct data before sending to our local teams/clients

Qualifications

What you need to succeed....

  • Self-driven, results-oriented, solutions-focused with a positive outlook
  • Strong operational and process experience to enable digital channel best practices across ways of working
  • Excellent project management skills to prioritise tasks on these busy accounts
  • Highly organized and capable of working independently
  • Proficient in social, paid search, multiple DSPs and extensive knowledge of the RTB and wider programmatic landscape
  • Experience with writing and/or overseeing performance reporting including data and commentary/insight
  • Effective at people management and compliant with following policies and practices in line with the talent team
  • Good knowledge around recruitment, performance management best practice, motivation, development plans and issue resolutions
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Advanced communication and writing skills – working across the team, within the wider agency, with clients and media owners
  • Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills (confident working with numbers and large amounts of data)
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • The ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; working under pressure and prioritise workload
