Job Description
Harbor is seeking a talented and highly motivated CG Generalist to join our creative Advertising team. The CG Generalist will work under the supervision of the VFX Supervisor, CG, and collaborate closely with the CG Lead, Creative Directors, and Producers on various projects to ensure project alignment and success. This role is focused on creating high-quality visual effects content and requires a broad range of technical skills and creativity. As a CG Generalist, the role may involve creating assets, developing shot-specific lighting or looks, producing animations and effects, contributing significantly to the visual storytelling of visual effects projects.

- Demonstrate proficiency and expertise in various stages of the 3D pipeline.
- Create assets and shots that meet project requirements and high-quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the CG Lead, VFX Supervisors, Creative Directors, Producers, and other team members.
- Develop and implement efficient 3D workflows to optimize production.
- Participate in dailies, reviews, and client meetings.
- Maintain high technical and artistic standards.
- Provide technical and creative solutions to challenges.
- Ensure clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Proficiency in modeling, texturing, look development, rigging, animation, FX, and/or rendering.
- Experience working with Maya; Houdini skills are a plus.
- Experience with ZBrush, Adobe Suite, Substance Painter, Mari, Nuke, and other industry-standard software.
- Proactive in learning proprietary tools and new techniques.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Team player with a great attitude; dependable and flexible.
- Takes direction well and exercises close attention to detail.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment and work under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
