This new role in the NL Finance team will work closely with the Finance Director & FP&A Controller Netherlands, with primary responsibility of closing the books across all business units with a focus on costs and reporting accurate and ontime monthly management accounts per the Groupe Reporting timetable.

With the ability to analyze financial data and assist in periodic forecasting, this role will extend to include closing files and audit trail documentation that is pivotal in ensuring the NL reporting function.

Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Lead the monthly Management Reporting cycle:
   • Prepare local management accounts pack for actuals vs forecast & budget
   • Liaise with Payroll for the monthly journal and actualization of local Staff Cost files
   • Review all Staff Costs for accuracy and completion and manage any associated Accruals and booking reclass journals
   • Provide Staff Costs commentary on performance actuals vs forecast
   • Review all Operating Costs for accuracy and completion and manage any associated Accruals and booking reclass journals
   • Provide Operating Costs commentary on performance actuals vs forecast
   • Assist the Finance Director with business unit review and completion for local country consolidation
   • Liaise with Revenue teams for final Revenue bookings and inclusion in business unit management accounts
   • Ensure all journals have appropriate authorization and supporting documentation
   • Ad hoc support in closing Media & Non-Media entity month end packs
2. Key stakeholder in the Forecast cycle:
   • Assist in the preparation of Staff and Operating Costs budgets and rolling forecasts, collaborating with Budget holders, FP&A & the Finance Director
   • Collaborate with FP&A on variance analysis and performance assessments to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement per cost environment
3. Support the Finance Director with quarterly Balance sheet schedules, review and analysis
4. Ad hoc analysis and requests from Finance Director
