Who are we?

On the Wilgenweg in Amsterdam North, you’ll find all our expertise under one roof. From commerce, data, media, creation, PR, influencing to production: you name it, we got it. But the beating heart of Boomerang, part of Publicis Groupe, is the people: a team of designers, creatives, strategists, producers, and managers with a passion for people, communication, and culture. Together, we are driven, talented, unique, daring, and we have more fun than most, we believe ;) We like to have a lot of fun, even when there's a lot of pressure.

We create groundbreaking and playful content, from social media to tv-commercials. Our motto is 'can't do, doesn't exist.' And, in addition to client work, there is also room for personal projects and editorial creativity on our own socials.

In 2021, we joined forces with Publicis Groupe. Since then, we have been one of the biggest advertising and communication companies in the world and aim to deliver personal experiences and inspiration to large groups of consumers. In doing this, creativity makes the difference, technology and intelligence make it successful.

What will you be doing?

At Boomerang we work on all different kinds of projects. Starting from an offline/online approach we create social campaigns big and small, traditional and dynamic, but also DOOH in all shapes and sizes and the odd TVC.

As our Video Editor Intern you will find yourself in a multi-talented team where we help each other to push it to a higher level. You will work very closely with our post producers, video producers, creatives and directors.

The requirements that come with this job are:

• Working with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
• A clear understanding of social media and the formats of different channels
• Willingness to learn and go the extra mile
• Professional camera knowledge and/or experience with 2D animation, essential graphics, AE expressions or compositing are a bonus
• Speak English. Dutch would be handy and any other languages would be extra cool ;)
