Job Description
the community is looking for a Business Operations Manager, who is a proactive self-starter with the ability to drive and oversee various operational projects to manage the client relationship as well as the internal financial planning and data entry into our budget tracking systems. You should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment, with the ability to partner with internal cross-functional teams. You should have a strong understanding of both client needs, business needs and understanding of data analysis for financial management of your assigned projects. You are someone who gets it done. You can build, launch, and run a successful program, end-to-end, with all the nuances in between.
Responsibilities
- Work across various brands assessing the business operations needs for each client to help meet operational excellence KPIs. This includes financial planning, management and analysis, project scope development and project financial tracking to ensure projects are not over or under in their set KPIs.
- Collaborate with, operations, finance, resourcing, and leadership teams to execute the end-to-end financial management process inclusive of budget authorization, client billing tracking, reconciliation reporting, and compliance with internal/external audit requirements
- Manage tools, systems, and processes that enable sound financial operations including entering scope details and staffing plans into client’s procurement tools and internal budget tracking tools.
- Build and develop relationships with internal brand teams, ensuring that data for monthly reconciliation is updated to report back to clients monthly.
- Assess business reporting needs and help build reports that will provide financial transparency for both internal stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in an advertising agency
- Strong knowledge and ability in Google Sheets
- Strong data analysis background
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at once
- Ability to work autonomously
- Financial background a plus
- Extremely detail oriented and passionate about processes
- Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to identify actionable insights
- Solid communication skills, able to write clearly, speak professionally, and convey complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Excellent organizational skills with time sensitive deadlines
