Job Description

The Opportunity

We're blazing trails in the realm of topical and social native content strategies, and we need a creative strategist who's ready to dive into our unique dynamic blend of creativity and strategy team for a few of our high-profile clients. Are you someone who naturally understands social platforms, trending topics and is curious about human behavior? With over 3 to 4 years of agency experience, you'll be perfect for this role. Your mission? To decode audience behaviors and craft compelling (social native) stories that align with our clients' goals. You'll thrive in this fast-paced environment, bringing order and strategic brilliance to every project.

What you will be doing

  • Discovering, explaining, or reimagining brand and business aspirations to maximize their impact.
  • Gather, analyze, and shape data to discover unexpected insights and audience behaviors that guide creatives.
  • Bridging the gap between creativity and strategy by translating insights into actionable, shareable social concepts that grab attention.
  • Crafting concise briefs that gets everyone’s creative brains ticking.
  • Engage and align clients and team members around strategic visions and creative executions (bridging strategy, creative and editiorial planning).
  • Serving as the guardian of brands, championing the interests of the audience, and steering the direction of the clients communications.
  • Nurturing client relationships to the point where strategy becomes an integral and eagerly anticipated partner in the creative process.
  • Collaborating with the Creative & Editorial teams to nurture and execute groundbreaking ideas that transcend channels but are rooted in social-first, award-winning concepts.
  • Embracing the role of provocateur, pushing boundaries and challenging everyone to produce work that pushes beyond the brand's comfort zone.
  • Elevating the collective thinking and knowledge of wider teams by sharing specialised expertise, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who 

  • Has 3+ years of experience working in media at an agency 
  • Has excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Has an advanced understanding of, and experience with, the current social media landscape (Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), but more important is well-aware of the latest topicals trends to fuel creatives.
  • Is naturally curious and thrives working at the speed of social 
  • Can identify strategic opportunities and translate them into creative briefs fit-for-brand that ignite the creative process in a clear and concise way 
  • Helps guide and enable the creative team to come up with best-in-class creative concepts 
  • Challenges conventional thinking and encourages both the team and client, fostering an environment where learning and growth are an integral part of our operation
