Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process invoices and manage delivery to the clients.
  • Assist in daily Cash Log activities, review unallocated cash and send information to the cash team, update payment records in Salesforce.
  • Generate reports, such as client specific reporting, creating AR and Cognos reports. 
  • Answer inquiries from clients as well as internal groups 
  • Ensuring advertisers pay on time and chase them for overdue invoices.
  • Monitoring advertiser balances to ensure a reduction in debt.
  • Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within the team.
  • Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team
  • Starting legal proceedings if clients do not pay their debts on time.
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Monitor Prepay advertiser accounts in the 10-day negative balance grace period to ensure prompt payment.
  • Issue daily reports for Prepay account deactivation countdown.
  • Monitor deactivated advertiser accounts for subsequent payment and initiate reactivation if paid.
  • Issuing final invoices and collecting on past due amounts.
  • Create and maintain client set up related to A/R in various systems.
  • Upload invoices into client's platforms
  • Special projects as needed.
  • Contribute to a cohesive departmental unit; promote team environment.
  • Promote open intra/interdepartmental communication channels.

Qualifications

  • Graduate in Finance/Accounting (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-2 years customer service experience, preferably in accounts receivable.
  • 2-3 years billing background in high transactional environment preferred.
  • Overall 4+ years of experience.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong Excel skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Able to work with a sense of urgency and without hands on supervision. 
  • Ability to display initiative and ownership.
  • Proactive and able to anticipate needs and issues before they arise. 
  • Must be detail oriented with a passion for accuracy and possess good organizational skills.
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Flexible as responsibilities may shift over time.
  • General understanding of accounting principles.
