What will you do?

As an DevOps Engineer you will ensure that applications can be continuously released with high levels of confidence while also improving the scalability, reliability, quality and performance of the infrastructure and build systems. You will participate in the development and implementation of software delivery standards, policies, and procedures through automation.  you will collaborate with Engineering teams, Engineering services team and customer team members on the practices, processes, and coding best practices. As a Senior DevOps resource, you are skilled and experienced at analyzing and resolving complex software configuration and infrastructure issues to maintain product integrity and overall stability of the platform. Most importantly, you are passionate about helping our team learn to build awesome every day, because that is just what we do.

• B.E/BCA/ MCA/M.Tech/ M.Sc in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• 5-7 years of experience in Java based Application or Production Support, DevOps Automation using Ansible, Shell, python, chat-ops and CI/CD using Jenkins & GIT,
• Handling Application Platform on-call support
• Proficiency in JAVA/J2EE, SQL DB, Oracle, and Unix/Linux.
• Work actively with team members to analyze and resolve application issues
• Identify defects, discrepancies, and trends by ways of code debugging or log analysis
• Manage incidents and effectively communicate with users, application owners and senior stakeholders across all areas.
• Hands on experience in resolving platform related alerts in stage and prod environments.
• Support Dev team in troubleshooting integration issues.
• Experience in SSL Implementation and renewal process.
• Experience in configuring and performing DR and HA Architectures.
• Understand the Request flow and application integration.
• Challenge existing application setup, processing and suggest different ways to solve problem or improve stability.
• Actively participate in Change management process with view to manage risk in production environment. Build and improve run books for generalists to minimize operational errors and gain fungibility/efficiency.
• Willing to learn and troubleshoot/support proprietary technologies not available through marketplace.
• Experience with Version Control Systems like SVN, GIT, TFS, etc..
• Results oriented and deadline driven.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Working experience with Cloud technologies (like AWS).
• Experience in managing large scale complex applications
• Hands on experience in terraform, Kubernetes, EKS is a plus
• SRE experience is a plus.
