Job Description

At PlowShare Group, the role of media analytics will be to go beyond the standard practice of measuring and achieving campaign and client goals. Our mission in media analytics will be to deliver those results and use them as a force in rebuilding trust between our core institutions, whether in government or public service, and the people that they serve. The media analytics team helps us do that by co-developing and fostering a functional and transparent media organization dedicated to that same mission of service that will deliver the right messages to those in the most need them within environments and entities that in those values and will work toward rebuilding that trust with us.  

Reporting to the SVP, Data Innovations and sitting alongside the media planning team, Plowshare’s Analytics Manager will be responsible for the development and management of PlowShare Group Dashboards and Reports. At PlowShare, transparency is key to our success and in this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your data and analytics experience to develop data products to drive client success and to influence media planning and operations for clients and internal teams. The Analytics Manager will be tasked with implementing Data and Analytics best practices across multi-channel and multi-platform digital media campaigns for PlowShare clients.

Core Responsibilities

  • The Analytics Manager will be responsible for the Data Governance and Dashboard development of PlowShare client digital media campaigns. This includes troubleshooting data issues as they arise during the course of campaigns, and adding data from new platforms as campaigns are launched.
  • Data governance of advertising technology, ad serving and platform management across, programmatic media, SEM, and social media
  • Responsible for Data and Analytics best practices across PSG clients
  • Collaboration with Media teams and clients on campaign delivery and analysis
  • Measurement of specialized media programs in collaboration with the Media Development and partnerships team
  • Responsible for client and campaign reporting, analysis and data management
  • Client assistance on backend technical needs such as pixel management, ad tracking and encodement or other media buying and campaign reporting technical needs
  • Identify the technology or tools needed to support campaign implementation in addition to other software or hardware that may assist in client advertising support and analysis
  • Demonstrate Data and Analytics transparency and build trust (a central source of truth) with clients and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years in the advertising/marketing/media/communications agency industry, with proven experience in successfully developing dashboards, managing data & analytics reports, and data governance of digital media advertising campaigns
  • Minimum of 5+ years setting up and managing data governance through APIs and manual data integrations of Google Ads, DV 360, The Trade Desk, Conversant, DoubleClick, Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat and other social networks
  • Minimum of 5+ years developing dashboards and reports in a data visualization platform in Datorama or another dashboarding tools (e.g., Lookr/Tableau)
  • Minimum of 5+ years developing reporting presentations for mid-campaign, post campaign, and QBRs
  • Comprehensive experience with the Data & Analytics of earned, owned shared and paid media
  • Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret campaign performance data and provide insights and optimization recommendations
  • Strong communication skills and be comfortable presenting data & analytics ideas to internal and client stakeholders
  • Passionate about the constantly changing world of media with ability to drive thought leadership for clients and the agency
  • Collaborative approach/attitude
  • Experience with Lookr, Funnel or similar ETL solutions

Compensation Range:  $81,500 - $128,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
