Job Description

This role is lead search across three very different brands: Visa (branding focused), Karcher (retail-focused) and Primark (footfall focused). The role involves leading activation of paid search in the UK for these 3 brands. The manager will work with a wider team of managers and executives who manage paid social. The role will report to an associate director to deliver best in class campaign strategy, overseeing execution and delivering brilliant client service. You will work with partners including Google and Bing, and be exposed to social platforms should you wish to learn more. Paid search experience is a must. You will caretake the search strategy and ensure it is executed and optimized such that client targets are met as efficiently as possible. Campaigns will be a mix of branding and direct response.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for campaigns’ overall activation and performance on search
  • Serve as day-to-day contact for the internal planning/account teams and the client
  • Implement a test and learning plan
  • Proactively find new and innovative ways to drive forward the strategy for each client
  • Strong financial and operational management

Qualifications

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a new or experienced Manager, to lead the strategic and tactical execution of the search campaigns. We are looking for candidates with experience in paid search.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with data and have very strong attention to detail. They will be a team player who is keen to learn and is results-driven. They will be ready to take responsibility for the effective implementation of activity within their accounts and be eager to share their knowledge with the wider team and be an effective mentor and role model to their team.

Pre-requisites for the role:

  • Paid Search related experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, particularly explaining technical concepts to those in non-technical roles
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, across multiple internal stakeholders
  • Keen attention to detail and an analytical approach to achieving objectives
