Job Description

We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic, and result-oriented Sr. Manager, New Business & Marketing, to build on our considerable growth. This role will be critical in leading that charge and further cementing our disruptive position in today’s changing market. This role will be an integral part of the community’s growth team and will report to the Head of Growth. This person should have previous new business/growth experience, ideally at a creative agency, excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills, and be a proven and proactive leader capable of qualifying, managing, and helping convert new business opportunities. 

This is a pivotal role that operates at the intersection of the community’s growth directly with potential new partners and through Publicis Groupe. We are looking for someone who can confidently interact with brand marketers and Publicis stakeholders to critically assess and qualify opportunities. This role will be responsible for creating agency marketing materials in the form of case studies, credentials decks, and newsletters, which requires a great deal of coordination with internal community account teams. The role will also be integral to our pitches, helping develop and implement a path to victory. There is ample occasion for this role to be involved with proactive prospecting, upper funnel outreach, and lead generation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Partner with Head of Growth to help implement the growth vision and objectives 

  • Qualify new business opportunities to ensure they align with agency priorities, resources, specialties, and business goals

  • Lead and coordinate credentials meetings with potential new partners and Publicis Groupe partners 

  • Develop agency marketing materials

  • Respond to RFIs and develop proposals for conversion w/o pitch 

  • Help lead agency creative pitches and RFPs by managing timelines, resources, and overall winning output 

  • Grow new business pipeline by identifying and making contact with new targets

  • Build a professional and trusting relationship with clients; set and manage client expectations

  • Manage internal marketing strategy

  • Work closely with the Comms team focused on securing media coverage on key hires, credit for successful campaigns, and new business wins

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of new biz development experience within a production and/or advertising agency preferred

  • Must be proactive, detail-oriented, resourceful and quick to act

  • Must possess stellar presentation skills 

  • Proven ability to create strong relationships internally throughout the agency and with outside contacts

  • Must possess excellent communication skills liaising at all levels 

  • Must have experience working with U.S. clients

  • US Hispanic and Multicultural experience a strong plus

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $115,000 -$130,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.The Company anticipates the application deadline for this job posting will be 4/15/2024
