Job Description

Zenith Global are looking for a new Manager within the Paid Social team, a rapidly growing and successful team of 85+ paid social experts. This role offers an opportunity to work on multi-market campaigns for some of Edrington’s award-winning luxury Scotch Whiskey brands, including The Macallan and Highland Park, and Tork, the leading global brand in workplace hygiene. The combination of these responsibilities offers a unique opportunity to work across both branding and performance campaigns, targeting B2C and B2B audiences.

The Paid Social Manager will work with their Associate Director to deliver best-in-class paid social strategy and ensure faultless execution of brand and performance advertising campaigns on global social channels (primarily Meta, Twitter and LinkedIn, with secondary platforms being Snapchat, Pinterest and TikTok).

The Paid Social Manager will deliver on four key objectives:

1.         Strategic Thought Leadership

Demonstrate thorough technical knowledge across all global paid social platforms including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat and LinkedIn and refine strategic approach, by identifying, pitching and executing test & learns to consistently improve performance.

2.         Account Growth & Maturity

Grow and develop their accounts, driving innovation, increasing investment and diversifying platform/product adoption.

3.         Team Management

Effectively manage client deliverables, developing techniques to appropriately prioritize and distribute workload and responsibilities across the team. Ensure client needs are met and seek ways to improve efficiency through implementing new processes or tools.

4.         Developing Direct Reports

Set challenging and stretching tasks to grow the expertise and confidence of direct and indirect reports. Provide on the job training, construct compelling development plans and hold frequent development discussions to inspire and motivate team members. 

This role will report into the Paid Social Associate Director in the Zenith Global Paid Social team, a rapidly growing and successful team of 85+ paid social experts based in London, Colombia and India.

The Paid Social Manager will be supported by a team of four, including a Business Manager and Analyst based in Publicis’ Global Delivery team in Mumbai, and an Executive and Apprentice based in London.

  • Be the main point of contact in the paid social team for the digital hub lead, to address client communications, respond to briefs and oversee campaign activation in line with plan.
  • Manage test and learn roadmap, by identifying, pitching and executing new A/B tests and overseeing the implementation of learnings of successful tests into ongoing strategy.
  • Ensure activation of client activity across social platforms runs according to plan and free of errors.
  • Ensure your team delivers a high standard of work across planning, reporting, optimization, communication, billing, reconciliation and all other tasks required as part of running the designated accounts.
  • Clear and timely communication with clients and other members of the team, develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders: account planning teams, buying teams across all disciplines, clients, media owners and tech providers.
  • Define and develop your team organizational approach, implement and develop efficient processes across the team to streamline tasks.
  • Provide on-the-job training support for your team as well as opportunities for formal development and learning. Hold frequent Career Conversations and lead annual Wrap-Up process for direct reports.
  • Champion best practice and produce case study worthy work.
  • Disseminate key platform updates to the rest of the team and actively contribute to cross-team initiatives.



  • Thorough knowledge and experience planning and activating large-scale paid social brand and performance campaigns.
  • Up to date professional certifications e.g. Facebook Blueprint Certified Buying Professional, Twitter Flight School and Snapchat Advertising Essentials.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Direct client management experience, confident presentation skills and ability to engage a range of stakeholders.
  • Solution driven and innovative mind-set to drive performance growth.
  • Line management experience or experience managing an intern, with strong evidence of delegation, teamwork and problem solving.
  • Experience using Prisma (Media Ocean) and the Facebook integration.
  • Advanced Excel skills.

Will Ideally Have

  • Experience working in paid social.
  • Experience working with clients in both the B2B and B2C industry.
  • Experience with global campaign planning and activation.
  • Ability to design, implement and interpret advanced measurement solutions for both brand and performance advertisers.
  • Experience with technology, measurement and verification partners.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for cross-channel integration.
