Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Accountant to join our talented and diverse team here in Sydney. You will assist in providing accurate and timely financial services to support the daily operation and financial reporting of business units within Publicis Communications Australia.

You will join our small but mighty Finance team and work under the guidance of our Financial Lead, whilst having autonomy and opportunity to sink your teeth into deeper finance responsibilities. Furthermore, our Groupe’s connected platform will enable you to fulfil career ambitions in a business large enough to accommodate them.

Day to day in this role, you’ll get to:

  • Partner with the Account Management teams to ensure profitability of jobs across all clients.
  • Assist on month end reporting and revenue rolling forecasting.
  • Use your high organisation skills to manage monthly WIPS and job detail review with the Account Management teams.
  • Coordinate new supplier / client set up and job close processes.
  • Flex your high accuracy skills to assist with reporting, audits and job reconciliations.
  • Build on your existing experience and skills to help improve internal efficiencies and optimising operating processes.
  • Be part of a tight-knit, supportive and successful finance team that sits within the Publicis Groupe’s connected platform.

Qualifications

The person we’re looking for has / is:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience working within a finance / accountancy team.
  • Is an excellent communicator, enjoys working in a collaborative team and is self-motivated.
  • Is analytical and has excellent attention to detail.
  • Possesses brilliant organisational skills, is proactive and inquisitive.
  • Is an Excel gun, can quickly whip up a pivot table or vlook up with ease.
  • CA/CPA qualified is desirable, also SAP knowledge is a plus.
