The transformation you will experience 

This is an incredible opportunity for an Account Manager to join our dynamic team and lend your expertise to spearhead campaigns across a diverse media mix which includes traditional, digital, performance, as well as dynamic partnerships.

You will be involved in the planning, implementation, and reporting of client campaigns across all media channels and the full marketing funnel. This role lends the platform for you to elevate your creative and strategic thinking while dedicating your efforts to one of Starcom's flagship clients—a leading brand in the automotive category, driven by a passion for market leadership and innovation. You will be stepping into a hybrid environment where you’ll get to collaborate closely with cross functional teams to deliver best in class work.

Your day to day will look like:

  • Efficiently handle the daily requirements of client stakeholders
  • Prepare implementation planning responses, ensuring the plans reflect the client business needs and media environment which maximise return on investment
  • Engage in media planning activities across Above-the-Line channels, contributing to comprehensive and effective strategies
  • Consider all digital opportunities in implementation strategy and planning solutions
  • Collaborate closely with the Investment Manager, Digital Manager, and Performance Manager to ensure smooth workflow coordination within the team
  • Oversee the financial management including invoicing and payments process in line with contractual terms agreed
  • Guide client WIP sessions and meetings, demonstrating leadership in communication and project management.
  • Promote the agency’s specialist services and research initiatives
  • Ensure that clients are informed on general media industry topics which may affect their business
  • Anticipate client needs, building long term relationships. Proactively drives the relationship with clients

What type of person will be successful in this role

  • Ideally a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience from a media agency, advertising, or publishing background
  • Media planning skills – able to identify client objectives and be able to plan campaigns (with support of director)
  • Strong understanding of offline and digital media channels
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross functional teams (Strategy, Investment, Digital, Performance)
  • Strong understanding of the financial process
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Able to upskill & mentor junior members of the team
  • Able to multi-task and manage multiple and shifting priorities
  • Possess a curious nature with a willingness for continuous learning and fearless growth
