Product Manager Shopper's Voice (Remote)

Job Description

The Epsilon Data Practice has industry leading data which we use to uncover insights for our clients and develop audiences for targeted marketing programs across all channels. This new role will collaborate with teams in Data, Marketing and Sales to identify new opportunities and drive revenue for Shopper’s Voice, Epsilon’s unique asset and the largest survey-based data set in North America. Expansion to other products will occur in the first 6 to 12 months. Focus initially will be 100% Shopper’s Voice. We require someone who is self-motivated, eager to tackle multiple projects, articulate, loves details, and ready to work with many different types of people and teams.

Role

  • Be the product knowledge expert for Shopper’s Voice – survey development, survey data, pricing, positioning, and pricing. Be a resource for Sales & Client Services.
  • Support the tactical aspects of product planning and management that include customer needs assessment, competitive analysis, revenue and profitability tracking, pricing, positioning and product success measurement. 
  • Work in collaboration with the product team, survey planning team, client services, sales teams and other Epsilon partners.
  • Identify, recommend, and create marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives to drive revenue and profit.
  • Assist in leading survey space planning in conjunction with Consumer insights and Client services to maximize revenue and profit of the survey.
  • Assist in identifying process and knowledge gaps and training needs, assist in the development of training programs to support sales and other internal partners.
  • Day-to-day activities include managing documentation used by multiple stakeholders: Online and offline data taxonomy maintenance, marketing materials updates, pricing documentation maintenance, creating new marketing materials, revenue tracking, and reporting.

Accountabilities

  • Project manage all deliverables to Marketing and Sales for content and collateral. Create effective briefings to the Marketing department for marketing materials (sell sheets, survey copies, presentations, data cards, survey books, and PR pieces); coordinate reviews/ approvals and communicate final pieces to the sales team and relevant teams.
  • Drive development of content to support Shopper’s Voice lead generation activities including emails, newsletters, blogs, and social posts.
  • Drive creative/offer updates on Shopper’s Voice’s money-saving offers page (MSO) in Canada and the US.
  • Canada French survey development - manage through vendors the English to French translation and proofreading of survey question changes.
  • Develop knowledge of US and Canadian data privacy laws and their implications for the data products. With guidance from Epsilon’s privacy officer – assist in any data product updates.
  • Track product and performance and data validation, communicate results to internal parties and develop action to close any gaps and recommendations to improve performance and validation.
  • Participate in, and support, the development of product strategy and annual plan, in conjunction with the Director and VP.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's university business degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of work experience, preferably in the marketing/ advertising industry
  • High attention to detail.
  • Organization and project management skills.

  • Problem-solving skills – strong tactical skills, building towards strategic problem-solving.
  • Independence and initiative.
  • Team player.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000
