Prodigious is an award-winning global production studio, part of the connected Publicis Groupe, providing production services across all channels to both agencies and directly to clients.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Motion Graphics Artist & Editor with a great showreel to join our Sydney team. You will be a Creative Specialist, experienced in creating all forms of content from brand and broadcast, through to agile social/content delivery.

You will be proven in their ability to deliver high caliber projects and have solid experience as a Senior After Effects Animator and Editor. We are looking for someone who can confidently and effectively work with senior stakeholders in our business including Creatives, Client Service and Producers, as well as directly with our Clients.

 

About the role:

As an experienced Senior Motion Graphics Artist and Editor, you will be creating high-quality content across various mediums including television commercials, online video and all social content platforms. You collaborate with a specialised team of Editors, VFX Artists, Colourists and Sound Engineers. Your expertise in 2D animation is critical. Combined with a strong ability in editing, content management, and team leadership, you will be instrumental in maintaining the organisation's quality control standards and driving the success of our content initiatives.

You will have the ability to take a Creative brief and create engaging work that exceeds creative and client expectations. As you will be collaborating with a variety of stakeholders and clients, strong communication skills, a growth mindset, and a positive disposition are essential.  

 

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Motion Graphics Artist / Editor within an advertising, content, and/or digital company. You are equally comfortable working with Motion Graphics as you are Editing.
  • Master of Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
  • Experience in other 2D animation tools (eg.Toon Boom Harmony) looked upon favourably.
  • Strong understanding of editorial strategy development and content management best practices.
  • Excellent offline and online editing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in mastering and exporting for television, OLV, and all social platforms including QC.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard style guides and legal/ethical guidelines for content creation.
  • Some experience in team management, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of editors would be a bonus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Up-to-date with industry trends and developments in digital media and content creation.
