Job Description

The Director of Product Management has a strategic leadership role as part of the Capabilities product management team. The role will lead the Delivery team, responsible for driving innovation and delivering new features in the RMN (Retail Media Network) ad serving and delivery space. Particularly for Onsite.

The Delivery team is one of 3 of the Capabilities product management teams responsible for delivering our RMN offering.

Reporting directly to the SVP of Product Management (Capabilities), the ideal candidate will be a team leader with deep experience in product management and a passion for building workflow-based software.

Strategy & Planning

  • Work with the SVP of Product Management (Capabilities) to define the product strategy for the Delivery area to increase our competitive advantage in the Ad serving and delivery space and ensure it fits within the broader RMN Product Strategy.
  • Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing product and feature initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation
  • Work with our Delivery squads to improve our ad serving technologies, relevancy and delivery algorithms, apis and automation
  • Work closely with other Product teams (Verticals, Presales and CIE) to help validate user requirements and feature requests.
  • Validate business benefits and develop business cases for any features to be considered for development, including partnering with GTM verticals (revenue) and engineering (investment) teams.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in the product delivered to market needs wrapped in a product experience that continuously and consistently delights our retailers and customers.

Roadmap and Scope of Works

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining the product roadmap which defines product enhancements for short- and long-term releases.
  • Conduct research to identify customer needs and market gaps.

Team Leadership and Culture

  • Set and communicate the strategy for achieving Epsilon’s mission, vision, and values within the Product space and the broad actions needed to implement it.
  • Inspire a workforce to commit to these and do extraordinary things to achieve business goals.
  • Assist in the leadership, building, and maintenance of the RMN product team.
  • Foster collaboration within the Team and into the business
  • Establish and foster a culture of ‘customer evangelism’ within the Team.
  • Create an environment that enables your Team to learn and evolve in the best practice

Process

  • Establish the product development process and lifecycle in collaboration with the SVP of Product Management (Capabilities).
  • In collaboration with the Engineering leadership, establish effective ways of working in partnership with Engineering
  • Collect and analyze data to determine product direction and define business requirements

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in shaping product strategy and executing
  • Demonstrated ability to envision ad-tech or mar-tech services that meet consumer needs or solve business problems.
  • Developed analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Extensive experience building and managing a team of product owners/managers
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a collaborative environment
  • Experience using product analytics tools
  • Extensive product management experience
  • Demonstrated success in defining, launching, and maintaining great products
  • Ability to lead and negotiate business discussions that require balancing technical capability, cost, and time against business needs
  • Must have good negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Must possess strong leadership skills and generate enthusiasm among team members
  • The ability to communicate complex, sensitive information tactfully is required
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets
  • Ability to establish strong relationships internally

Specific to Delivery Team

  • Experience with AdTech and ad-serving technology such as Google Ad Manager
  • Understanding the key principles of Search Advertising and keyword management
  • Experience in best practice design and definition of APIs
  • Experience in the development of SaaS platforms and meeting performance SLAs
