ROLE PURPOSE

Join our Starcom team and work on a globally recognised and loved travel client who are progressive and continuously evolving their paid media activity – There have been many campaigns that have led to winning Google Honours awards and so many other prestigious industry awards, such as the Mumbrella Travel Awards!

We're looking for a Search Manager to work on one of Starcom Australia’s largest paid search client.  This role is unique in that we're looking for someone who would be a part of our Starcom AU team, but would be based in New Zealand to allow for closer connection and collaboration in-person with our New Zealand based client.

As the Search Manager, you will be responsible for campaign management, optimisation and analysis and work closely with our internal team, as well as the client to build out future-focussed testing and optimisation roadmaps.

Paid search campaign management for the New Zealand market - working in-platform across SA360, Google and Microsoft Ads. Annual paid search media budgets of approximately $3M.

  • You will have strong client servicing experience and provide client leadership on search strategy, partnerships and tech opportunities
  • Develop and grow relationships with clients and client teams through paid search excellence Meet or surpass client performance targets
  • Oversee the execution and optimisation of paid search programs and campaigns
  • Support the Search Director in managing client WIP and reporting meetings to discuss upcoming initiatives and provide analysis & insights that go beyond just the numbers, alongside key actions

IDEAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in managing multimillion-dollar budgets for paid search campaigns
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to concurrently manage a team and individual task list
  • Strong experience across SA360, Google Ads & Bing Ads + GA360/GA4
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate media strategy into performance media solutions and responsibility for reaching performance targets
