Job Description

An ideal candidate will have 4+ years of professional experience serving in a similar role, and he or she will support the FP&A team with a focus on financial reporting and planning, month-end close, compliance, and analysis. The candidate must have a degree in the Accounting / Finance fields and highly organized in terms of time management and prioritization.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly analysis to support analysis on actuals vs forecast.
  • Provides monthly reporting of G&A costs to budget holders across different departments.
  • Develop expertise in financial software to regularly update data and distribute financial reports.
  • Creates reports to highlight trends and evaluate business performance against expectations and historical data.
  • Collaborate with other team members in support of business unit operations requests.
  • Supports Finance and Executive leadership by compiling and analyzing data to create business insights.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in an equivalent role
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Experience with SAP and Hyperion system
  • Experience in Data Analysis and SQL
  • Strong technical skills, especially Microsoft Excel (Lookups, Pivot tables, etc.)
  • Extreme attention to detail with a passion for accuracy and entrepreneurial desire to learn and grow.
  • Team-oriented mentality and eagerness to ask questions and examine and enhance existing FP&A team processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with diverse groups agency-wide.
  • Ability to think several steps ahead, plan accordingly, work well under pressure and meet deadlines for multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced organization.
