Job Description

Description:

The APEX Regional Lead will be directly responsible for the growth of APEX across the EMEA region, working with each of the market leads to oversee the strategic development and execution of our proposition across all channels.

 

You must have an entrepreneurial approach and the ability to build and manage a business unit across multiple markets.

 

You will work closely with the local APEX teams to develop long-term commercial strategies for their markets, supporting them in positioning APEX as a key partner for their Clients’ marketing goals and ensuring the APEX proposition in each market meets our global standards. You will need to build strong relationships with your local APEX teams and establish clear lines of communications, to ensure a seamless and an integrated & collaborative working model.

 

You will also serve as the primary point of contact for Regional Clients and their Agency teams, with a focus on growing the APEX relationship across our key Clients and ensuring we have a Regional strategy for their development. 

 

You will be aided in this by the Associate Director, APEX EMEA, who will support you in managing regional initiatives such as the development of a consistent and mature solutions framework and product catalogue across the region.

 

As Regional Lead you will work closely with the APEX Global team, and your counterparts in NA, APAC, and LATAM, to share learnings, best practice, and support on global initiatives.

 

You must be a self-starter, and very goal orientated. This is an opportunity to lead the growth of APEX Exchange across EMEA, furthering our position as a core solution within Publicis Media’s strategic approach.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Support and guide the local APEX teams in building and managing annual business plans, with a strategic approach to satisfying/exceeding the market revenue objective
  • Develop long-term vision for APEX across EMEA, inclusive of developing and managing talent
  • Educate Agencies and Clients, both new and existing, on the APEX value proposition
  • Ensure local APEX teams abide by compliance requirements throughout their transaction processes, supporting on audits where necessary.
  • Maintain regular communication with local and global APEX teams, including in-market visits when required
  • Advise local APEX teams on talent requirements and structures, supporting them in recruiting and developing the right talent
  • Participate in forecasting and reporting exercises for executive management in the region and globally
  • Oversee all regular campaign and revenue tracking for the region, coordinating with local and global APEX teams.
  • Work with market APEX leads to ensure consistency on targets are in line with Financial reporting
  • Coordinate the development of APEX solutions framework and product catalogue across the region, alongside Associate Director, APEX EMEA.
  • Share learnings, processes, and products with local and global APEX colleagues.
  • Work closely with PMX colleagues across the region to coordinate and deliver our holistic Trading approach, including
  • Support new business initiatives working alongside Commercial teams in identifying opportunity and risk
  • Help foster best practices at a regional level in commercial partnerships, including proper governance and standards
  • Support new markets in the launch and development of APEX   

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficient in English reading and writing
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proven track record of top performance measured against business growth, revenue, and other variables
  • 10+ years with increasing levels of responsibility within an agency or media company
  • 8+ years of people management experience
  • Ability to navigate complex client needs as well as internal agency dynamics
  • Acknowledge and commit to comply with our internal procedures intending to prevent bribery and corruption
