2024 Fallon Summer Internship

  • Intern

Company Description

On the day Fallon opened its doors without a single client, it did so under the headline, “A new advertising agency for companies that would rather outsmart the competition than outspend them." More than 40 years later, and this mantra is unwavering. We are a creatively-led agency who pinned our public reputation on our commitment to smarts.

Smart brands create something of value in the world. Smart brands add to people’s lives and to culture; they help build ideas in the world, and they leave something behind. See fallon.com for more information and examples of our work.

Fallon strives to ensure diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences are represented - and that everyone feels seen, heard, and has a sense of belonging. We create and welcome dialogue around systemic issues and obstacles for our people, and ensure work reflects the perspective of many. Our efforts towards a more inclusive workspace focuses on enacting change through acknowledgment, education, accountability, action, and celebration.

Qualifications

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONS:

Account Leadership - Manages our internal teams and works to become not only a key point of contact for our clients, but also a trusted business partner. Account leaders are charged with setting a vision for their brands and shepherding projects from beginning to end.

Account Strategy - Scours every available source of intel (data, business information, cultural context, consumer learning, etc.) to craft target audiences and develop unique insights that serve as kindling to start creative fires. Our strategists are expert storytellers, connoisseurs of culture, anthropologists, and psychologists, all wrapped into one.

Media - The Fallon media team is responsible for taking creative assets and putting them into the world, coming to the table with best-in class media plans that WOW clients with their creatively unique approach. They don’t exist to deliver impressions but to make impressions.
They think the best media plans should be a little scary, but the best media people shouldn’t scare easily. They’re best when they’re building as much as they’re buying. And they love data but aren’t in love with data. From a targeted display campaign to high-profile stunts, the media crew handles everything from data-driven audience work to spots and dots executions, to big, attention-grabbing activations.

Creative - Creative – The people, teams, and minds that make the work. They concept ideas for brands and bring them to life through copywriting, visual direction, brand storytelling, and design. They develop channel-specific work with an emphasis on social, TV, emerging
media, activations, and that hot new platform that probably came out last week that everyone's talking about. They are heavily tuned into popular culture, always looking for new and creative ways to blur the lines between entertainment and advertising.

Social - The social crew at Fallon keeps their hands in all aspects of social. Their job is to strategize campaigns, stunts, and always-on programs to build lifelong consumer bases that support and care about brands. And they do this across the mediums that matter to consumers, including traditional social media, but also more broadly apps, websites, web3 integrations, and more. They listen to what consumers are saying and identify trends, brand advocates, and emerging platforms to inform advertising, engagement, and content strategy.
