Job Description

Role overview

As a Creative Account Manager, you will be managing our existing client base and new clients campaign deployment from creative development to delivery with special focus on briefings, analytics and recommendations ensuring campaigns are hyper-relevant in market.

The Creative Account Manager leads and manages the day-to-day quality output of the Transcreation and Production Department and acts as a link between new business and operations.

The CAM responsibilities involves but is not limited to setting up best practices, leading training process, management of quality assurance programs, strategy and process improvement and creative onboarding of new clients in collaboration with the Creative Ops Director. 

To deliver on the KPIs stated above the CAM is supported by the Creative Ops Director and Transcreation Account Directors

3. Key Responsibilities                                         

Expectations:

  • Work closely with the Creative Operations Director and the Agencies to understand the client's business, strategy, customer insight and make sure enough information is in place for all parties involved
  • Be the brand guardians of each brand, and ensure team members are aligned on the brand message and proposition for each brand/campaign they work on, and understand local market issues
  • Prepare briefs for creative adaptation projects, and make sure the linguistic partners have enough information for their work
  • Support the team to ensure reference materials, brand guidelines and style guides are in place, up to date and maintained on all client accounts
  • Support the Transcreation Directors to identify the best approach/process for a project, and ensure the uncompromising implementation of the best practice
  • Perform quality checks for creative adaptation projects, ensuring briefs are followed and, where creativity is requested, it is delivered
  • Responsible for ensuring high-quality localised content is delivered at all times by performing random checks and working closely with TDs
  • Help improve the Transcreation/Translation process and project delivery, through regular meetings and reviews with all parties
  • Ensure feedback from the client is in place for all major projects and capture the rules in the style guide
  • Mentor and train interns and junior team members

Pitches Support

  • Work together with the Creative Ops Director to act as a subject expert and strategic advisor in pitches and new business opportunities.
  • Mentor and support the Transcreation Team in quoting, particularly for out-of-scope projects 
  • Step in for Creative Operations Director to represent the T&P department in pitches and take part in presentations when required

Quality Management & Training

  • Accountable for the Transcreation quality output of the department.
  • Own the Transcreation process and training material.
  • Accountable for the implementation of Transcreation and all the linguistic processes enabling the smooth operations of the department
  • Accountable for achieving the performance, quality and efficiency targets

Creative Direction

  • Have a solid overview of the company’s main client accounts, quality challenges and creative requirements
  • Lead creative discovery for new clients and/or new campaigns
  • Act as a Transcreation subject expert and adviser for client services team leading creative briefing for copy adaptation requirements as and when required.
  • Establish and lead a client-oriented & creative culture in the department
  • Participate in client escalations and quality investigation when needed

Process Improvement

  • Work with t Creative Operations Director and Head of Vendor Management on the onboarding of high quality linguistic resources
  • Proactively work on the successful implementation of new services such copy origination, Cultural Consultation, Community Management etc
  • Stay up to date with current Transcreation industry trends to implement the most efficient ways of working and achieve the highest quality.

People

  • Act with seniority, confidence, and passion.
  • Owns the team’s training by identifying and establishing needs for the department, organise training sessions and safeguard processes acting as a Transcreation subject expert.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the creative industry, with a focus on Transcreation and media production
  • Strong oral and written English skills
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire large teams to achieve company goals
  • Ability to define strategy and convey strategic ideas
  • Ability to establish culture and drive change
  • Emotionally mature and self-confident
  • Ability to think on the move and act accordingly
  • Ability to liaise and collaborate at all levels and across functions – vertically and horizontally.
