Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned full-stack software architect with experience leading and developing cloud-based applications to join our expanding Technology Team, responsible for delivering the Publicis Groupe’s Project Management, Resource Management and Time Tracking tools. Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop a robust Enterprise Applications Architecture for our PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) applications suite. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership to our web development team, consisting of team members with multiple skillsets. This team will be responsible for managing our Azure environments and applications based on various technologies and consisting of frontend, backend, integration experts, etc. You will also be responsible for delivery planning, estimations along with end-to-end delivery of the project deliverables. In this role, you will be working with multiple teams, stakeholders, business teams, as well as senior IT leadership for governance and for providing project updates. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with seniors as well as juniors around you.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and high-performance software applications using the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Manage IT projects right from inception to completion, overseeing development and implementation of programs.
  • Creating design specifications, reviewing with the teams, responsible for writing and grooming stories to define, estimate, and track the team’s work.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Lead the architecture and design of full stack applications, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Mentor and guide developers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow professionally.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies and evaluate their potential impact on our software development processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and strategies for future projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our software applications.
  • Create proof of concepts to prove assumptions.

Experience & Skillset:

  • Must have practical experience implementing projects using .Net Core Microservices, Azure Devops, Cosmos DB, Backend for Frontend (GraphQL), and ReactJS
  • Proven experience with design patterns and patterns of enterprise application architecture
  • Expert knowledge of SOLID principles
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, HTML5/CSS3 or C#
  • Extensive knowledge of web development frameworks and libraries; must have experience on React, Vue.js and good to have experience working with Angular.
  • Experience with database technologies, such as SQL and NoSQL.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms; must have experience working with Azure DevOps, VMware, AWS.
  • Proven track record of driving software design from Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Expert knowledge with architecture styles/APIs (REST, gRPC)
  • Organizational and leadership skills • Proven experience as a Full Stack Architect, with a strong background in both front-end and back-end development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 

Additional Information

Mandatory:

  • Must have 2/3 years' experience as an architect and worked on implementing projects using .Net Core Microservices, Azure Devops, Cosmos DB, ReactJS.
