Social Media Manager

We’re looking for a social media manager to help support some of the most exciting and playful clients in the business (think CPG!). This will be a bit of a hybrid role that combines strategy, client collaboration, trend-watching, community engagement and partnering closely with a content creator counterpart to develop/execute fit-for-platform content that’s experimental, relevant, and informed.

Our ideal candidate would have 1-3 years experience (internships count!) and a love of social content and conversation. A fun, catchy social writing style is a big plus. Our offering is built to move at the speed of social — and our clients love us for our agility, efficiency and effectiveness in the content space. No two days are ever alike as we work to reinvent what social looks like and how it comes to life. We’re not here to copy trends but to create them.

Here's what’s required:

  • Excitement Towards Social and Trends. You live in your social feeds, get excited about cultural conversations, are always looking for amazing content opportunities and know what it takes to make a brand standout.
  • Multicultural Interest. An excitement towards learning about a multicultural community and how to find the intersection between their interests and relevant cultural conversations and trends.
  • Must Love Dogs. You read that properly! This person must love dogs, be interested in learning more about them and their owners and not mind being around them for some content creation!
  • Flexibility. This program is a new offering and we want to be different, from our model to the way we think about content. This is year one and we need someone who not only is excited to dive into it but also help optimize and perfect it.
  • A Start-Up Mindset. While we live in the Publicis Groupe ecosystem, we’re also forging a new path. That means getting scrappy and inventive.
  • Experience (or interest in) hybrid roles. We don’t use a traditional agency model with concrete roles for account, strategy and creative. Instead, our job descriptions are intentionally blurred, encompassing a combination of elements that could include strategy, ideation, execution, creative, writing, making and client relationships. We believe that everyone has a range of abilities and ideas and we try to build roles to match the interests and talents of our team members.
  • Curiosity. About content. About technology. About how they can come together (AR! AI! Etc!). We don’t expect you to know it all now, but we hope you want to learn. 
  • Team mentality. The way we succeed as a new department is by working together, having each other’s back, collaborating and communicating—and also by having fun.

Compensation Range: $51,000.00- $75,000.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
