Job Description

Summary

The Senior Associate, Supplier Diversity will be responsible for a variety of tasks supporting Publicis Groupe’s Procurement Supplier Diversity initiatives. This role will support a large client account to deliver on its Supplier Diversity objectives. implementation of Publicis Groupe Procurement’s Supplier Diversity initiatives, which are aligned with the Groupe’s overall CSR priorities in Diversity, Responsible Marketing, and Data Protection. Supplier Diversity is a proactive business strategy that seeks to ensure an inclusive and diverse supply chain. This role is an opportunity to develop skills in managing Corporate Social Responsibility and DE&I projects, as well as experience in Responsible Supply Chain initiatives.

Key responsibilities

 

  • Sustainability: With close collaboration with the wider Responsible Procurement team, implement sustainability initiatives and methodology to track impact.
  • Training: Lead vendor outreach, training and engagement in relation to key sustainability criteria.
  • Collaborate across Procurement teams and build strong working relationships
  • Collaborate and support wider procurement team on other ad hoc projects as required
  • Global Supplier Diversity Program: Working closely with the Procurement CSR & Supplier Diversity team, support the launch of a global inclusive sourcing strategy with a particular focus on the European market.
  • Vendor Outreach: Where required, contact Publicis Groupe’s vendors to obtain company information or participation in diversity initiatives such as surveys or events.
  • Client Requests: Analyse available data and templates to draft responses to RFPs, client questions and audits in the areas of Supplier Diversity and Responsible Procurement.
  • Diverse Supplier Search: When requested by Procurement teams or client account teams, consult with Procurement databases of diverse-owned vendors to prepare shortlists of vendors who can meet specific project requirements.
  • Market monitoring on sustainability topics: Regularly and actively scan the global market for developments and improvements, especially in relation to sustainability, responsible supply chain management, carbon emissions reduction.
  • General Support: Where required, accept other responsibilities and projects to support the advancement of the global Supplier Diversity program.  

 

Qualifications

  • Fluent spoken and written English is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build professional relationships in a collaborative, team-oriented, international environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly efficient, with experience in data analysis or reporting.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously while working towards deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated and adaptable, with ability to adjust and adhere to new processes and procedures.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of working experience in a professional setting.

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Business Administration, Sociology, Corporate Social Responsibility, etc.)
  • Practical experience related to Business Analysis, Procurement, Administration, Report Generation, Database Management, Corporate Social Responsibility.
  • Data analytics and / or data visualisation training or qualification would be an asset.
