Job Description

A Content Writer will spearhead social media, websites and editorial content development for branded campaigns with excellent storytelling skills and the ability to make any product or brand interesting and exciting.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a team-based, high-paced, and detail-oriented environment. The candidate will ensure the content created adheres to voice, brand, and quality standards. The candidate will work closely with the strategy and creative teams to implement successful content marketing initiatives for clients. He/She will be working with strategists and art directors in content development, from planning to execution and delivery.
 

Technical & Product

• Research brands and relevant industries and stay up-to-date with the latest digital trends

• Generate, edit, publish and share daily digital content pieces, including but not limited to social posts and video annotations and editorial content.

• Create fresh, new, and interesting ideas and convey them that effectively adopt the tone of the proposed brand/campaign

• Attention to detail and great knowledge of the English language and grammar, aiming to produce mistake-free content.

• Able to review and proofread copy from others and provide suggestions to enhance the content.

• Able to write long editorial content as well as short content and headlines.

Business Acumen & Operational Efficiency

• Understand the brand character and deliver content that is adherent to its TOV

• Develop online social media campaign ideas for specific target audiences while succinctly communicating brand positioning and internal KPIs

• Align multiple brand strategies and messaging ideas within the copy

Innovative & Analytical Mindset

• Brainstorm fresh content ideas and collaborate with team members as necessary

• Constantly reinforce understanding of what motivates consumer behaviour and audience social media actions and desires

• Produce content within tight turnaround timelines

• Be a thought leader on emerging content trends across social platforms

• Strong grasp of social media space and online media jargon and technology 

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment

• Ability to effectively and appropriately interact with co-workers at a variety of levels, across many disciplines
