Job Description

Position Summary:

As a member of our DevOps team, you will work closely with the AWS Solutions Architect in charge on the development and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and hosting of tools, services, and applications in the AWS Cloud. You will also need to be able to collaborate with team members of different capabilities, towards the development of applications you are working on.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS.
  • Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements.
  • Identify and implement improvements to infrastructure scalability and stability.
  • Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code.
  • Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Windows based, Linux based systems and serverless architectures.
  • Ability to investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks, infrastructure, and environment related issues.
  • Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems.
  • Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization.

 

Qualifications

Key requirements

  • At least 5-7 years of strong experience in building and maintaining AWS infrastructure with following services:VPC, EC2, ELB, Route 53, Security Groups, IAM, CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CloudFront, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, SES, CloudWatch, Event Bridge, SQS and CloudFormation.
  • Worked in senior technical role demonstrating ownership skills.
  • Strong experience with containerization and orchestration services such as Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, load balancing etc.
  • Strong experience in provisioning and configuring secure Infrastructure as per project requirement on AWS.
  • Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements as per best practices and AWS well-architected framework guidelines.
  • Strong understanding on implementation of security concepts and best practices for Kubernetes and AWS
  • Demonstrated experience of handling and resolving complex infrastructure and scalability issues on Kubernetes.
  • Demonstrated ability with scripting languages such as Python, NodeJS, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Strong experience in automating repetitive tasks and design robust workflows using integrated AWS services.
  • Strong experience with version control system such as Git and BitBucket.
  • Strong experience in writing and maintaining infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Cloud CDK, Serverless framework or similar.
  • Strong understanding of best practices in DevOps release management process for enterprise level applications.
  • Strong experience in end-to-end design, development, and implementation of CI/CD pipelines on AWS CodePipeline and Jenkins.
  • Experience in implementing code analysis tools and automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in provisioning, administration, and maintenance of cloud databases like MongoDB Atlas, Google Firebase and Amazon RDS.
  • Experience in data migrations and backup restoration of different data sources for different environments.
  • Experience with implementing monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Fluent bit and CloudWatch alarms.
  • Solid foundation of networking and security on Windows, MAC & Linux server administration.
  • Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.
  • Self-starter and collaborative team player who can take ownership of the tasks.
  • Experience in working in an agile based project and environment.
  • Strong experience working around microservice architecture and API knowledge is a nice plus.
  • Experience with Cloud Migrations a big plus.
  • Experience as an AWS Solutions Architect (dual role) is a big plus.
  • Prior experience in advertising domain will be a big plus.
