STUDIO MANAGER

Leading global production and post-production company is seeking an experienced Studio Manager to lead the customer-facing Studio Services team in London. Responsible for creating a premium but welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff alike, the Studio Manager will ensure the smooth operation of the company’s studio facilities and the successful interaction with its clients.  The ideal candidate for this position will be charismatic, highly organised, with extensive experience in the hospitality industry providing unparalleled service and client experience. 

Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Greet clients and create a lively, welcoming atmosphere while exhibiting professional and graceful demeanor
  • Manage studio spaces on a daily basis: coordinating with vendors and contractors, to upkeep facility presentation, and supply ordering
  • Facilitate client requests and support company staff
  • Plan and execute events on and off site 
  • Answer phones, transfer calls, and take/send messages
  • Maintain food services, coffee/beverages, and kitchen/lounge
  • Manage studio budgets strictly and carefully
  • Procurement and distribution of facility furniture and decorations
  • Facilitate ordering of all weekly studio supply needs while adhering to budget
  • Identify useful and reputable vendors and develop/maintain productive relationships
  • Interface with clients on a daily and ongoing basis to serve their projects and to build their relationships within the studio and with its artists
  • Support the production team with special projects, as assigned
  • Maintain safety, cleanliness, and procedures onsite
  • Ensure facility cleanliness and sanitation in partnership with cleaning contractors
  • Manage the team of client concierge and facility runners
  • Support executive assistant and senior management with scheduling and time management for both local and visiting management
  • Other duties, as required and assigned

Qualifications

Required qualifications and background:

  • Significant professional customer service and hospitality experience
  • Outgoing, friendly personality and ability to thrive in a busy environment
  • Strong aptitude for hospitality, networking, and client interaction 
  • High attention to detail and superior organization skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task 
  • Ability to "think on your feet" and problem solve
  • Film, television & entertainment experience or knowledge a plus but not required
