Research & Insights Analyst

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Insights and working closely with our Strategy and Planning teams, the Research & Insights Manager will develop effective and impactful research programs through, design, utilising consumer data, research technology and analytics. You will utilise your analytical skills and business acumen, leveraging data to inform strategies, optimize advertising campaigns and contextualize business performance. 

 

Research & Insights Analyst Responsibilities:

  • End to end management of bespoke primary quantitative projects, including advanced questionnaire design to support advanced data analytics allowing for strategic reporting with actionable commercial insights and solid recommendations
  • Development and scripting of quantitative questionnaires that deliver to project objectives on Human Listening platform or other survey platform
  • Leveraging research tools & technologies to ensure most efficient delivery of research projects
  • Management of fieldwork providers and conducting data quality checks
  • Performing strategic analysis of primary quantitative research and secondary data to identify key insights aligned to research brief
  • Leveraging secondary data sources to augment primary research findings, including all offline and online media measurement tools to deliver integrated measurement frameworks
  • Liaising with research agencies to ensure project deliverables and ongoing health of relationship
  • Proactively identifying new and innovative research tools & technology
  • Providing insights support through participation in strategic brainstorming sessions and supporting internal client teams with research & data requests
  • Identifying advance analytical approaches to use when conducting analysis
  • Creation and presentation of research report

 

This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane.

 

About you

You are a curious Research & Insights Senior Exec or current Manager, with 3-5 years of experience market research and advanced analytics.

As a Research & Insights Manager you:

  • are commercially minded with a passion for uncovering consumer and industry trends
  • Experienced in all facets of quantitative research methodologies including survey design, project management and analytics data analytics
  • Strong technical skills in data analysis and statistics using SPSS, SQL, or other similar statistical tools
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or other similar tool
  • Synthesis multiple data sources to provide holistic strategic insights
  • Love working with a variety of different clients and enjoy managing research programs
  • Confident presenter who is able to communicate insights effectively to groups of internal and external stakeholders
