This role is an excellent opportunity to join our highly skilled engineering team that is providing support for Prodigious UK. The role is primarily based in a new, state of the art post-production facility in Chancery Lane. The site boasts 3 professional Audio suites, 11 High-End Edit suites, 30 CGI stations with dedicated render farm and over 50 Broadcast workstations.

The main purpose of this role is to be a versatile, Tech Support Runner for Post-Production. This role will require hands on technical support for, software applications in creative video editing, motion graphics, audio mixing, CGI, and also hardware support for edit suites/workstations. It will mostly require front line support.

All projects will interlink with every department and each of our 2 sites. Day to day duties will differ from one day to the next in this fast-paced and energetic facility. The Engineering team is playing a crucial role in ensuring the is better connectivity and cohesion between sites and departments.

Candidate should be willing to work on site at least 3 days a week.

Required Experience

• Basic understanding of and ability to install post software applications (i.e. any of the following; Adobe Creative Cloud, Pro Tools, Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Flame, C4D, Arnold etc..)
• Experience of working across Mac and Windows.
• Ability to manage storage area and move/archive data.
• Experience in testing and rolling out operating system updates, software application updates and plugin updates across a whole or multiple sites.
• An interest in keeping up to date with new and emerging technologies to support the team, as well as workflow enhancements. (i.e. AR/VR technology, GPU/real-time rendering solutions, Azure/AWS Cloud services  etc..)
• A self-starter who can make their home setup suitable for post-production work.
• Excellent verbal/written communication,  organisation and people skills.
• Willingness to document, share and log any changes or knowledge across the team of engineers
• Willingness to learn new things and pick up new tasks and not afraid to go out of their comfort zone.
• A positive attitude always willing to help the team no matter what the task is.

Desirable

• Experience using remote solutions with HP and Leostream
• Experience using CLI
• Experience using Virtual Production Tools/software
• Experience in using prompts for AI to resolve issues
• Knowledge of Print/re-touching workflows
